Simply measure from the centre of one spring bar or tube, across the watch (north to south) to the centre of the other spring bar or tube. This is your Lug-to-Lug measurement.

On receipt of your strap you may initially think the keepers are too close together, they are not. As a strap is wrapped around the wrist the keeper tabs ‘pop’ out to roughly what they need to be. I need to do this to stop the strap bunching up under the watch head. Its not an exact science and there is some waggle room in the nylon when fitting.

WRIST MEASURING GUIDE :

Most of my straps are built to your wrist size. Its no good sending me a ‘Im size medium’ etc as I can not build to that, so, I need a reasonably accurate wrist measurement.

When measuring the wrist for your wrist size it is important to get this as accurate as you can to help save any issues with fit. Use a cloth tape or a strip of paper roughly 25mm wide, wrap around the wrist making a note of the ‘sweet spot’ and then measure that against a rule.

I have added a handy tape measure PDF above if you do not have a tape. Simply open up the document, print, cut, stick the 1-10 & 11-20 Inches together and measure. DO NOT resize the document ! The Document/printer settings must be set at 100% and not ‘fit to page’
Please measure the wrist with the tape measure touching all the way around the wrist but not pulled too tightly.

Please do not be tempted to add any to the finished length. I build the straps around a metal wrist/Jig that I set to the wrist size you give me.
